Richard Bown, President
Richard is the founding owner of Turf's Up Landscaping & Property Maintenance Inc. Since 1991, Richard and his landscaping team have specialized in everything from weekly property maintenance to lavish landscape and design installation in the Ottawa area.
In May 2008, Richard opened the Urban Terrace Outdoor Living Design Co. Since opening the doors of this upscale outdoor speciality store, this west-end location has been receiving rave reviews. As soon as you walk through the doors, the lush space immediately captures your imagination as it provides a treat for the senses. The soothing sounds of water trickling in the background sets the tone as you gaze onto the impressive stonework through the Urban Terrace.
Laura Matthews, Landscape Designer & Horticulturalist
Laura started her career in interior design and followed it up with the Horticulture Diploma program at Algonquin College.
She is a refreshing new face to the landscape design industry but her artistic flare, vast knowledge of plant and building materials and her attention to detail always produce a beautiful result. She over- commits herself on every design project and has the ability to build strong relationships with each of her clients. Combining her fresh new ideas with the functions you require for your space, Laura wi'll help you design the outdoor oasis you've only dreamed of.
She has taken her passion for design and decor of the indoors and brought it outside!
